Interim Registration and Onboarding Flow for a Financial Services Firm

This project delivered a registration and onboarding flow for a financial services firm, built explicitly as an interim solution to bridge a gap until the same capability could be built properly into the core product.

Designing for a deliberately short life

The brief here wasn't "build the onboarding experience" in the usual sense — it was "build something that works now, and won't be a problem to retire later." That meant keeping the implementation fast and lightweight enough to ship quickly, while still being careful about how registration data and flow logic were structured, so that when the core product absorbed this capability, the transition wouldn't mean throwing away the data or forcing users through a second, different registration process.

Outcome

The result was a working interim onboarding flow that met the immediate need without over-investing in a solution that was always going to be temporary, while leaving a clean path for the functionality to be absorbed into the core product down the line.
