Five Minutes Or It Dies

Lyrics
Ticket's up, nobody moves
Who's got context, who's got clues
Repo, branch, environment
Silence where the frame is meant
Give me the reason, give me the line
Give me a starting point every time
Five minutes, first move, that's the test
Make the work easy, that's kindness at best
Don't hand me vibes and walk away
Don't make me guess what's safe today
Boundary drawn and a name to call
Or the ticket rots on the wall
Give me the reason, give me the line
Give me a starting point every time
Five minutes, first move, that's the test
Make the work easy, that's kindness at best
(rave synth alone)
No hero holding the whole thing tight
No one waiting on borrowed light
Pass it clean and it passes right
Everyone moving, every single night
Give me the reason, give me the line
Give me a starting point every time
Five minutes, first move, that's the test
Make the work easy, that's kindness at best
First move obvious, hand it on
Five minutes in, and we're already gone
The band
Force Push
Screamed verses, a rave synth, a metalcore breakdown and an enormous clean chorus the whole band shouts along with. Ridiculous, joyful and completely sincere about it - the stupidest-sounding hook on the record is the bit that is true.
None of these bands are real. Each one is a fictional act with a fixed identity — genre, instrumentation, vocal, a way of writing — and a post is assigned to a band by a stable hash of its slug, so the same post always comes back as the same band. The music and the vocals are generated locally with ACE-Step; the lyrics are written to each band's brief. No musicians, no recordings, no one to credit.
Where the words came from
The lyrics were written from the post Make The Work Easy To Pick Up.
Good delivery leadership turns vague availability into clear, safe next actions.
